5 DAY COMMERCIAL PILOT PROGRAM (CPL)

A commercial pilot is someone who is allowed by the FAA to charge money for services and able to act as pilot in command. The holder opens the door to get Career in a Commercial Airlines (domestic or International), charter companies or corporate. In 14DAYPILOT Flight Academy, students are trained not only to pass the ACS (Airmen Certificate Standard) requirement but also to be a proficient and safe commercial pilot in only 5 days.

PREREQUISITES

To be eligible to join the 14 Day Airline Pilot Integrated Training (APIT) program these are the following requirements

The minimum hour required in obtaining a Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) is 250 hours, therefore before the check ride students must collect minimum around 230-235 hours before starting the Commercial Pilot program.

Aside from collecting 250 hours for the check ride, there are also several requirements that need to be complied with before obtaining a CPL license. One of the main requirements is the 300 NM PIC cross country flight. To find out more about time building and CPL requirements please contact us and our team can help.

In order to be eligible to start the CPL program you must be able to obtain an FAA medical certificate, minimum 3rd class. The medical test can be done either in Indonesia or in USA. The FAA medical certificate is one of the required documents for flight.

At 14DAYPILOT we have very high standards set to ensure quality of our students. The FAA allows minimum of 70% to pass the written exam but we require a minimum of 80% passing grade before flight training can begin

Every student that is not a US citizen looking to train in the USA will be required to get Transport Security Administration (TSA) approval to start training. Once approval is granted then they can start training.

The minimum age to get a Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) is 18 years old on the check ride day. Students may enroll before the age of 18, as long as he/she is 18 years old on the check ride day. There is no maximum age requirement.

Being able to understand, read and speak the English language is a mandatory requirement of enrollment. Every lesson, class and learning process will be done in English. Prior to entrance there will be an English exam to check proficiency

FLYING MORE PRECISE

As a commercial pilot the standards are set higher based on the ACS. Applicants are expected to fly within the tolerable limits set in the ACS such as heading, speed, altitude, etc

MORE REGULATIONS

The responsibilities associated with earning a Commercial Pilot certificate involves more regulation requirements. They are important and essential to flight to avoid unplanned incidents or accidents.

PERFORMACE MANEUVERS

During training there are more maneuvers that need to be learned compared to the Private Pilot license. Given the short amount of time to learn them, it is a great challenge and experience for any pilot.

CHECK RIDE PREPARATION

In ensuring the high standard of all our graduates, 14DAYPILOT Flight Academy has prepared a customized preparation course known as Pass Oral Exam System (POES).

Pass Oral Exam System or POES is the preparation class that students will undergo before starting flight training in our Van Nuys Training Center. It can either be done online or in Indonesia, Asia.
