A Boeing 777 Emirates plane has crash-landed at Dubai International Airport. However, all 300 people on board were able to escape from the burning aircraft.

Shortly before the Boeing 777 flight EK 521 was due to land, the pilot announced the passengers that there was a problem with the landing gear and that he would be forced into an emergency landing, according to Indian media.

The plane appeared to have landed on its belly, and images showed thick black smoke rising into the sky. The cause of the incident is not known.

The flight was flight EK521 arriving from Trivandrum, India crash-lands in Dubai.

Eyewitnesses said they saw thick black smoke coming out of the aircraft, which was flight EK521 coming from Thiruvananthapuram in India. The aircraft has apparently suffered serious damages, especially to the fuselage.
